Anthony and Mary Cascino have combined legal experience of over 48 years. Anthony specializes in Corporations, Contracts and Insurance Law and Mary specializes in Estate, Tax and Business Succession Planning and Trust and Estate Administration. Both Anthony and Mary are active in local bar associations and are frequent authors and lecturers at continuing legal education seminars and bar association meetings.

Anthony’s practice concentrates on:

• Providing on-site legal services to publicly traded and private corporations which require less than full-time in-house counsel, but can benefit from experienced counsel on site on a regular basis;

• Insurance – corporate, claims and regulatory matters, including:

Mary is Of Counsel to the firm and her work concentrates on:

• Administering Estates and Trusts after death to expeditiously carry out the terms and directives of established estate plans (or Illinois law where there is no established plan) 
• Tailoring Estate Plans to each individual’s circumstances for the effective transfer of assets, including business and real estate interests, during life and at death, including:
  • Wills, Living Trusts, Generation-Skipping Trusts, Dynasty Trusts
  • Gift Trusts, Charitable Trusts, Insurance Trusts, Special Needs Trusts
  • More advanced estate planning mechanisms;
• Utilizing mechanisms to reduce or eliminate probate costs and federal and state estate, gift, inheritance and income taxes;
• Preparing plans for Business Succession during life and after death;
• Preparing Property and Health Care Powers of Attorney, and other appropriate advance directives, tailored to each individual’s needs, for the seamless transfer of decision-making authority in the event of a client’s incapacity during life; and,
• Establishing and administering Guardianship Estates for minors and disabled adults.
